CDC: National Survey of Children with Special Health Care Needs "The primary goals of this survey module are to assess the prevalence and impact of special health care needs among children in the US, and to evaluate change over time. This survey explores the extent to which children with special health care needs (CSHCN) have medical homes, adequate health insurance, access to needed services, and adequate care coordination."
childstats.gov America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, 2013 is a compendium of indicators depicting both the promises and the challenges confronting our Nation's young people. The report, the 16th in an ongoing series, presents 41 key indicators on important aspects of children's lives. A working group of 22 Federal agencies, the Forum fosters coordination, collaboration, and integration of Federal efforts to collect, analyze and report data on conditions and trends in issues related to child and family well-being. The Forum also has partners in private research organizations.
Child Trends Databank The Child Trends DataBank examines and monitors more than 100 indicators that focus on risks and positive developments for children. For each indicator we summarize what the research says about its importance to children’s development, track trends over time and by subgroup, and highlight strategies likely to improve well-being. Links to state, local, and international data are available. diversitydatakids.org diversitydatakids.org is a state-of-the-art research project designed to meet the urgent need for a national, integrated information source that helps us understand: Who our children are, by documenting and tracking the rapidly changing demographics of children and families in the U.S.; What our children need, by establishing a system for monitoring not only child outcomes, but also key factors (including opportunities, conditions, and resources) that drive child outcomes; How to improve opportunities for all children, especially those that may need the most help, by focusing explicitly and rigorously on issues of racial/ethnic and socioeconomic equity in child health and wellbeing.

Newborn Screening, Coding, and Terminology Guide (NewSTEPs)
NewSTEPs is a national newborn screening resource center designed to provide data, technical assistance and training to newborn screening programs and assist states with quality improvement initiatives.
UNICEF (United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) "UNICEF maintains a series of global databases for tracking the situation of children and women globally. The databases include only statistically sound and nationally representative data from household surveys and other sources. They are updated annually through a process that draws on a wealth of data maintained by UNICEF’s network of 140 country offices."
