Images, Videos, and sound recordings can be hard to find because they are everywhere! There is no single imaging database to search. Generally, a lot of great images and video content is embedded in our ebook publishing packages. Below is a list of some of our favorites places to start a search.

Detailed 3D models of Human Anatomy. Models can be rotated and layers of anatomy added or removed. Includes dissection slides, MRI, and CT scans.
Bates' Visual Guide to Physical Examination This link opens in a new window
Bates’ Visual Guide delivers head-to-toe and systems-based physical examination techniques for the (Advanced) Assessment or Introduction to Clinical Medicine course. The site features more than 8 hours of video content.

Case Files Podcasts
Dynamic, engaging podcasts take case presentations to the next level. Dr. Eugene Toy, primary author of the Case Files series, brings the cases to life and emphasizes key concepts in a conversational format.

LWW Health Library
The library has an ebook collection with Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins. After you search for your word or phrase, limit your results by clicking “image” under the Media category. Multimedia content is derived from the ebook collection which includes materials on: anatomy, osteopathic medicine, pathology, pathology/physiology, physical examination, and more. Switch collections by choosing the "More Collections" menu in the top right hand corner.

OMMBID (The Metabolic and Molecular Bases of Inherited Diseases) This link opens in a new window
Based on Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease, OMMBID provides comprehensive coverage of the genes and genetic mechanisms underlying human disease states; includes the metabolic and molecular underpinnings, causation, pathophysiology, and treatment. This resource is an online version of the MMBID textbook, as well as multimedia resources associated with the textbook.

The fundamentals of normal anatomy as seen on plain film, CT, MRI, angiography. Hundreds of abnormal films and gross anatomical images supplement normal radiographs. Plus a separate quiz feature!

Thieme MedOne Education
Illustrated full-color downloadable textbooks from Thieme’s Color Atlases and Flexibook series. Each electronic book retains the content of the print version, including full-color illustrations and instructive text – plus a powerful search function to help users easily locate topics across the entire collection.

Learn about mobile access | UpToDate® is a physician-authored clinical decision support resource that assists clinicians with point-of-care decisions. Includes easy-to-search graphics and a drug database and drug interactions tool (in partnership with Lexicomp®).
Visible Body Courseware This link opens in a new window
Visible Body has over 24,000 items in its visual database. These include: 3D models of anatomical structures and systems, physiology animations, pathology visualizations, illustrations, cadaver images paired with CTI or MRI scans, definitions, pronunciations, learning presentations that use this visual content, and more. This resource is only accessible to 1st year DO, DPM, and DPT students as well as MSA students.
