DMU subscribes to some Kanopy content, which DMU users may access immediately. For other Kanopy videos you'd like to view, you will be presented with an option to request access.
Full videos or clips may be shown in a group gathering as long the event is on campus, the majority of the audience are members of the DMU community, and no fee is charged.
Kanopy's website and video player meet all current ADA standards and are designed to work with screen readers. The vast majority of the videos are already closed captioned, though items very recently added may still have captioning in progress. In that case, please contact Kanopy directly by clicking on the crossed-out CC symbol on the video's page. They will have the video captioned within 48 hours, at no charge to DMU.
