Error messages with the AHA ebook Reader App
One common error message claims the eBook is expired and blocks it from opening.
If you experience this error, follow these steps:
- Delete the eBook.
- Quit the application.
- Go to our library catalog.
- Re-download the eBook.
- Open the eBook.
Other known issues:
- My ebook is no longer opening in the app
- The due date of the ebook is listed as 12/31/1969
- I can't open my ebook
Desktop App:
- Please reinstall the AHA eBook Reader application. Once the application is installed, please DO NOT log in or open the application.
- Download a new eBook file.
- Right-click on the downloaded file and open it with the AHA eBook Reader application.
Please Note: Do not log in using a username and password.
iPad App:
- Reinstall the AHA eBook Reader application. Once the application is installed, please DO NOT open the application.
- Download a new ebook file.
- Send the file (box with the up arrow icon) to the AHA eBook Reader application to open it.
