How to successfully download the eBook Reader and eBook

Important

A personal account is no longer required. If you want to save your bookmarks, highlights and notes, you will need to register for a personal account on the AHA site and be sure to login to see your saved items. You can login with your Microsoft SSO credentials.

You can now

  • read the eBook in the internet browser with the Read button without user limits
  • install the AHA Reader software and download the eBook for six days
  • checkout a print copy for three days

The American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider Manual is available digitally for student use. Please note that it is a particularly finicky platform, so please follow these step-by-step instructions precisely so that you don’t encounter any hiccups accessing the book.

Print Book Option

Prefer print? The library has a physical copy on reserve (behind the circulation desk). If you’d like to borrow it, provide the student workers with the call number so they can quickly retrieve it for you:
