Most publishers offer the ability to create a personalized account with a specific journal or group of journals. Each journal or publisher will provide different options to access their content, ie account registration, RSS feeds etc.
If there are only a handful of journals that you like to keep track of then this title by title approach may work for you. However, if there is a specific area of research you are tracking, then it would probably be best to use one of the services highlighted on this guide in order to receive content on multiple topics or publications at one time.
