Library COVID Updates

Effective Friday March 20 at 7:00 pm the library will move to badge access only until further notice.   Badge access will be available during the library’s regularly scheduled hours. For more information and for the latest updates on library services, please go to our Library Updates guide.

As of June 8, 2020, the circulation desk is being staffed weekdays 7:30a - 12:00a and weekends 9:00a - 12:00a (staffed July 4 12p-12a), although staffing may be intermittent at times. When staff is present, all materials located behind the circulation desk will be available as usual.

Please click on the link below for complete instructions on how to check out a print copy of the book if staff is not available.

Non-print materials that are located behind the circulation desk, such as whiteboards, headphones, and anatomical models, are not available when staff is not present.

Monday - Friday

6:30 a.m. - 12:00 midnight

Saturday & Sunday

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 midnight

Reference staff are available Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m


The library is not currently open to general public

The Kendall Reed Rare Book Room is open by appointment only.

The Library will be closed on all University holidays. Any other schedule changes will be posted on the home page of the Library's website.

Access and Use

Library materials may be checked out by University students, faculty, and employees. The Library offers faculty and students reference assistance as well as Interlibrary Loan privileges. 

The library is not currently open to the general public.  When normal business hours resume: 
The Library is open to the public from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Members of the public must use materials in the Library.

Remote Access to Library Resources

EZproxy provides students and faculty with remote access to the Library’s electronic resources for research. Whether on campus or working off-campus, students and staff can access library resources through the Library's website or from our LibGuides pages.‚Äč
