library resources are mobile friendly!

The Library and Mobile Access

We know how important it is to access information on your mobile device. Good news! Most library resources are available on your tablet or phone thanks to responsive design.  Using library links and the browser on your phone, you can connect to almost everything from your phone or tablet.

In most cases, you will still need a WiFi connection to use the app. The content will usually not download to your device.  Apps can be convenient, but you can also access individual databases from a browser. If you really like the app version better, for your convenience, here's the short list.

Please note: You will see apps for products the library has a license to in the Apple App store or GooglePlay. However, the apps listed online are usually intended for individuals, not institutional licensee.

Because we are licensing the product on your behalf, in order to access the apps listed on this guide, you first need to access the database from the library, then register for a personal account in the database, before you can access the content on the app.

Please do not use your complete DMU credentials when registering for personal accounts on third party sites.  You may use your DMU email, but please do not use your DMU password. For security reasons, its not a good idea to use the same password you use for D2L, Pulse, etc.

Questions? Please contact the library.
