
The Human Anatomy Atlas app allows you to manipulate models and virtually explore and dissect anatomical structures. It also contains animations. Your professor might directly link to the content they want you to explore, or you may launch the app yourself and navigate to the Views or Media tabs.

Under the Media tab, you can explore both patient education animations and advanced animations.
Under the Views tab, you can sort through 3D models according to:
Regions: head and neck, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, axilla, cubital fossa, hip, knee, foot
or
Systems: skeletal, circulatory, nervous, respiratory, muscular, digestive, urinary, lymphatic, endocrine, reproductive
You can also access:
Gross Anatomy Lab: presents a full body model on a table
Cross Sections: allows you to look at 3D anatomical slices next to corresponding MRI or other imaging views
Microanatomy: eye, ear, tongue, skin, blood vessels, teeth, etc.
Muscle Actions: view agonists and bones in motion
