How to find digital articles and magazine articles from Harvard Business Review at DMU Library.

If you receive the HBR Magazine articles in your email, you will notice that the issue and date are noted at the top near the title of the article. You will need this information in order to locate the article in our database.

Searching for HBR Magazine articles in Discovery

  1. Search "harvard" in the Discovery search bar.
  2. Select the "Harvard Business Review" search result.
  3. Select "Access Journal."
  4. Select the option that says "Harvard Business Review."
  5. Filter the articles to the year and month that you need.
  6. Find the title of the article that you need.

Searching for HBR Magazine articles in A-Z Journals

  1. Go to the "Find Resources" dropdown menu.
  2. Select "Collections A-Z"
  3. Select the "Search" tab
  4. Select "Journals"
  5. Search for "Harvard Business Review"
  6. You will see search results for the magazine and digital articles
  7. Select Harvard Business Review (this is the magazine)
  8. Select the dates that you want (full coverage is from 1922- present)
  9. Then select the year and volume and issue for the magazine article that you are looking for.
  10. Next you can search for the article title, or scroll through the issue titles for the article you want.
  11. Choose PDF FULL TEXT for a nice copy of the article
  12. Return to the result list to find another article.
