BoardVitals is an exam preparation database that provides review questions for the AMPLE Parts 1 & 2, PANCE, and NBME shelf exams.

NOTE: New users will need to create a BoardVitals account using your @dmu.edu email address. When you create an account on the BoardVitals site, you will be sent a confirmation email. Click the link in the email and your account will be activated. Once logged in to BoardVitals, it is possible to create customized practice tests, see explanations with each answer, and view statistics as well as suggested questions based on performance.

BoardVitals consists of question banks, plus up-to-date explanations from the literature with answers and detailed feedback.

"During the 3rd and 4th year of Medical School, clinical clerkship exams (or shelf exams) are given by the National Board of Medical Examiners® to ascertain readiness to continue on in medical school...The questions have been specifically adapted for the Medical School Student Level and include thousands of multiple choice questions (MCQ), vignettes, and long form questions."
Using the timed feature will allow you to practice how to pace yourself for an exam of this format. See the Subject Examination Timing Chart to determine the number of questions and exam length for each module.

The library's subscription includes the following sections:

"The Part I and Part II written exams are designed to assess whether a candidate possesses the knowledge required to practice as a minimally competent entry-level podiatric physician."

Initial exam PA's must pass in order to become certified in their profession. Students in accredited programs may register as early as 90 days prior to graduation to take PANCE.
